Chad Solol

About Chad: Chad Sokol is an aspiring journalist preparing to graduate from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University. A native of Southern California, he has embraced the Northwest, reporting professionally from several Washington cities. With experience in news writing, photography, video production and graphic design, as well as a strong grasp of politics, Chad plans to stake out a long career in journalism — ultimately as an investigative reporter or foreign correspondent. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, running, cooking and, most of all, traveling.

Kalinda Kindle

About Kalinda: Kalinda Kindle is a senior at Washington State University studying broadcast journalism with a second degree in global political science and a double major in Spanish. Kalinda is originally from Anchorage, Alaska and relocated to Ferndale, Washington. She works as an admission and recruitment ambassador for Washington State University. In the of Spring 2015, Kalinda studied Spanish language and culture aboard in the Dominican Republic. After studying abroad she realized her passion for working internationally. In the future she hopes to combine her love for people, traveling, and journalism and work as an international correspondent. Her ultimate goal in life is to work in areas of extreme poverty and tell the “untold stories.”
